"Truth Music" String Ensemble

String Ensemble-Founded by Verity in 2011 Verity & Giles- Leaders and musical directors of Truth Music String Ensemble Truth Music- String Ensemble Verity Thirkettle- Director& Leader of String Ensemble, Giles Thirkettle-Visiting Leader Harpists: Zafra Howard, Benjy Carter, Polly Maris Shaw Violinists: Nolitha Olusanya, Saranki Saaranganathan, Ramiyah Saaranganathan Verity set up "Truth Music" String Ensemble in February 2011. The ensemble involves 6 young musicians from Lewisham (age 9-15), 3 harpists and 3 violinists. Verity promotes them by organising peformances in Major venues. String Ensemble rehearse weekly, with performances at the end of each term. Their debut concert was in St Alfege Church, Greenwich-where they performed with professional musicians, myself included. They have performed in several community events, including: Lewisham People's Day, St Pauls Way Trust, Greenwich Street Party, Orchard Hall, Greenwich, Catford Broadway Theatre (for the Holocaust Memorial).
