Verity set up "Truth Music" String Ensemble in February 2011. The ensemble involves 6 young musicians from Lewisham (age 9-15), 3 harpists and 3 violinists. Verity promotes them by organising peformances in Major venues.
String Ensemble rehearse weekly, with performances at the end of each term. Their debut concert was in St Alfege Church, Greenwich-where they performed with professional musicians, myself included.
They have performed in several community events, including: Lewisham People's Day, St Pauls Way Trust, Greenwich Street Party, Orchard Hall, Greenwich, Catford Broadway Theatre (for the Holocaust Memorial).
They regular perform with Verity in concerts that Verity set up around London. For further information please contact Verity.
Their repertoire ranges from light classical, folk, popular theme tunes, pop.
